Get ready for three full days of fun as we journey into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths with STEMWorks
Wind Power Cars: Renewable energy has to be the way forward. In this challenge you will need to design and build a vehicle that is powered by wid that can can carry an ‘egg’ passenger safely across the finish line! Your design should be strong, stable & sustainable. Will you use 3 wheels or 4? What material will you use for a sail?
Structures: Using only paper, tape and some nuts and bolts can your team create a strong structure? Learn how to make paper into a strong building material, and then use the rolled paper ubes to create an amazing structure. Thinking about the shapes needed to make any structure strong, and how to join paper to keep its strength. All things to consider on the day.
This session will run from 9:30am – 3:30pm at a cost of £45.
