Dive into a swimming camp packed with fun this January!

Discover Swimming Camp will be delivered by our Westonbirt Swim Lead, Adele Potts, Specialist Swim Coach and Age Group GB Triathlete.
Sessions will take place over two days and support advanced swimmers wishing to compete at the upcoming IAPS Qualifiers or other similar events. Swimmers will develop their stroke technique, as well as focusing on tumble turns, touch turns and diving to improve overall competitive performance. This camp would also be ideal for those who are in a swim club or are looking to join a local swim club.
As well as focusing on specific strokes, we will coach children through the Individual Medley, as well as relay racing, to give an insight into what could be expected when competing in galas; as well as the ‘legal’ rules to avoid DQ.
Throughout this course, fins, pull buoys, kickboards and hand paddles will be provided as the training will also focus on a range of different drills and skills.
This two day course takes place over Thursday 4 January and Friday 5 January, from 10:00am until 3:00pm.
These sessions are intended for confident swimmers in Years 3 – 9.
Prices per day are £45 for an individual child.

We are lucky to have use of the fantastic facilities at Westonbirt School for Discover Swimming Camp 2024. Sessions will take place at Westonbirt Leisure Centre on the Westonbirt School site.
Westonbirt School is just outside of Tetbury in Gloucestershire.
