The Wishford Centre for Innovation is Wishford Education’s hub for educational research, professional development, and creative collaboration.
We exist to drive research and improve teaching, helping teachers and school leaders move learning forward with evidence-based practice.
In particular, we focus on Artificial Intelligence and human‑centred education.
Open‑Access Journal: The Wishford Journal of Educational Innovation publishes articles, reviews, insights, and notes, with the aim of improving outcomes for all pupils .
Professional Development: Courses, workshops, and conferences – in person, online, and hybrid. These are designed to be practical, evidence‑informed, and immediately useful in classrooms and strategy.
Research & Development: We pilot new approaches in real classrooms, partner with universities and innovators, and share what works (and what doesn’t) openly.
AI x EI Conference: Our annual flagship event for Heads and senior leaders exploring the future of learning at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Emotional Intelligence.
Collaboration & Outreach: We build partnerships across the sector so that good ideas travel fast and benefit learners everywhere.
Education is changing rapidly. The Centre ensures Wishford, and our partners, are not just responding to change but leading it. Our goal is simple: empower educators, inspire students, and prepare young people for the opportunities of tomorrow.
The Journal aims to bridge the gap between research and practice, providing a platform for educators to share insights, innovations, and honest reflections on the challenges facing modern education. Each issue will explore a timely theme, encouraging dialogue and supporting evidence-informed practice across our educational community and beyond.
The AI × EI Conference is a thought-leadership summit for school Heads and Senior Leaders.
