International Summer Schools

We provide high-quality summer courses for international students in English language and a variety of fun academic and co-curricular activities created by Westonbirt and Hatherop Castle School’s enthusiastic and highly experienced staff. UK host students participate alongside our international guests.

Westonbirt International Summer School

Set in one of England’s most beautiful stately homes in the glorious Cotswolds, our students have the opportunity to build their English-language skills and apply them with confidence through conversations with UK host students.

Westonbirt School’s 90 years of welcoming overseas pupils, together with its ethos of tailoring education to the individual child, ensures that students at every level will be supported to develop and extend their English-language skills.

Participants can choose from a range of exciting Academy options, including Horse Riding, Golf, Tennis, and Performing Arts, or take part in our Multi-Activity programme. We are confident that your child will have a fantastic summer holiday at Westonbirt Summer School.

Price £1,495 a week (minimum 2 weeks per student) plus optional transfer and Academy costs

Experience

15 hours of English language lessons, artificial intelligence training or leadership skills with maximum of 12 students per class
4.5 hours of informal learning through Team Project Challenge alongside UK host students
Up to 8 hours of Academy or Multi-Activity programme
3 trips per week, including London, Oxford, Bath, Bristol, Tetbury, and Cotswold Water Park

Hatherop’s International Summer School

Discover an exciting, fun and educational summer school for international students aged 8-12 years, with high-quality English language provision and a broad range of brilliant co-curricular activities.

Hatherop Castle dates back to Tudor times, and has an incredibly exciting history. It has been a boarding school for the past 50 years. The castle is set in 22 acres of landscaped grounds in the Cotswolds, one of the most beautiful parts of England and a popular tourist destination, within easy reach of the historic cities of Bath and Oxford, and just 90 minutes from London.
