Rupert House School are looking for an enthusiastic and patient person to give 1:1 learning support in the classroom to a child with additional learning needs.
The Role will involve supporting the class teacher and SEND Department to develop the child’s focus and ability to complete school tasks in the classroom. To provide some 1:1 lessons to support and strengthen the child’s maths confidence and development through multisensory and engaging activities.

It is the post holders responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact with. You will adhere to and ensure compliance with the school’s Safeguarding and Staff Behaviour Policies at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the post the post holder becomes aware of any actual or potential risks to the safety or welfare or children in the school s/he must report any concerns to the Headmaster or Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Hours: Flexible weekly schedule, 3-4 mornings a week, 4.5 hours daily. Fixed Term Contract.
Salary: £12.71 – £14.30 per hour
