Currently Head at Heywood Prep, Tim has been part of the Wishford Education Group since 2018. Throughout his time at Heywood, he has earned a reputation for his infectious enthusiasm, strong relationships with pupils and staff, and unwavering commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience. We know he will bring that same energy and warmth to Hatherop Castle.

Before joining Heywood Prep, Tim acted as Head of Boarding at Saint Felix School in Suffolk, where he developed extensive experience leading a thriving boarding environment. He understands the unique opportunities a boarding education provides pupils. At Hatherop Castle, boarding is at the heart of school life, fostering independence and confidence in pupils, and Tim is passionate about building on this tradition. Looking ahead to joining the Hatherop community, Tim said “I’m really excited to get to know all the children and learn their names individually. I want to understand what excites them and what inspires them, and what makes each of them unique.”

We look forward to welcoming Tim through the doors of Hatherop Castle in the coming months. He has already begun spending time with staff and pupils to get to know the school community and will also be attending forthcoming Open Days, giving families the opportunity to meet him in person.
